The South does not have the market cornered on rednecks. Every region of the country has its own breed of redneck. Zim and I have often talked about the special breed from where we come from. I finally put it down. I wrote and recorded this in about 20 minutes one evening. This was the first full take. I was in a serious Harry Nilsson kick at the time, so that explains the impromptu vocal solo. T. has not allowed me to re-record it, and although I think I could do it better, his instincts are usually pretty good. So, here's the take from the night I wrote it. --Knux
